1. General

What is Quick Chat?

Quick Chat lets you start a WhatsApp conversation with any valid number without saving it to your contacts. It also provides templates, recent history, and optional premium enhancements.

Is Quick Chat an official WhatsApp product?

No. Quick Chat is an independent utility. WhatsApp™ and all related marks are the property of their respective owners.

Does the app send messages automatically?

No. It simply opens WhatsApp (or Telegram for supported features) with the number & optional message pre‑filled. You always confirm sending inside the messaging app.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently Android (phone & some tablets). Web, iOS, or desktop versions may be considered later.

2. Using the App

How do I start a chat?

Enter the phone number (with correct country code) and optional message, then tap the launch/chat button. WhatsApp opens with the chat ready.

Do I need to include + sign or leading zeros?

Enter the country code (e.g., 1, 44, 62) without leading zeros. You don't need to type +; the app formats it.

Why does a number fail to open?

Common causes: invalid country code, number not on WhatsApp, network issues, or outdated WhatsApp version.

Can I favorite numbers?

Use templates or saved history workarounds for quick re‑launch. A dedicated favorites feature may arrive in a future release.

3. Templates & History

What are templates?

Reusable message snippets you can insert quickly (e.g., greeting, follow‑up text).

How many templates can I have?

Free tier: 3. Premium: unlimited (fair usage applies).

How many history entries are stored?

Free tier: 5 recent entries. Premium: extended/unlimited depending on updates.

Where is history stored?

Locally on your device; if signed in, certain data may sync securely to the cloud for continuity.

How do I delete history or templates?

Long‑press (or use provided delete action) on the item and confirm.

4. Premium & Billing

What does Premium include?

Ad‑free experience, unlimited templates/history (within fair use), possible extra themes, early features, and future integrations.

How do subscriptions work?

Managed via Google Play Billing. They auto‑renew unless canceled 24+ hours before renewal. Manage in Google Play > Payments & Subscriptions.

Is there a lifetime option?

Yes, if shown regionally. Lifetime is a one‑time purchase that unlocks premium features without renewal.

How do I restore purchases?

Sign in with the same Google account. The app validates purchase tokens and restores entitlement.

Why is premium locked after purchase?

If validation lags, wait a minute and retry. Ensure network connectivity and the Play Store account matches the one used to purchase.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds follow Google Play policies. Use Google Play order history or support if eligible.

5. Privacy & Data

Do you store my messages?

Templates and history may be stored locally. Cloud sync (if signed in) stores minimal structured data; actual messages you send in WhatsApp are not captured.

What analytics are collected?

Anonymous usage events (feature usage, crashes) via Firebase to improve stability and prioritize development.

Do you sell my data?

No. Data is processed solely to deliver and improve the app.

How do I request data deletion?

Contact support with your signed‑in account email. We remove associated cloud records (irreversible).

6. Advertising

Why am I seeing ads?

Ads fund free development. Purchasing premium removes them once entitlement is confirmed.

Are personalized ads used?

Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or contextual. See the Privacy Policy for control mechanisms.

7. Account & Sync

Why sign in with Google?

To sync entitlement (premium), optionally back up templates/history, and streamline multi‑device continuity (if supported in future).

Can I use the app without signing in?

Yes, core functionality works offline, but premium restoration and sync require sign‑in.

How do I sign out?

Use the account/settings page sign‑out action. Local data may remain unless you clear it manually.

8. Troubleshooting

Chat won't open in WhatsApp

Check the number format, update WhatsApp, verify connectivity, and confirm the number is registered on WhatsApp.

Template limit popup shows too early

Free tier allows 3 templates. Attempting a 4th triggers the premium prompt—this is expected.

Premium not activating

Force close & reopen, ensure same Google account, and verify purchase in Play Store. If still failing, contact support and include purchase ID.

App crashes on launch

Update to the latest version. If reproducible, contact support with steps + device model + Android version.

History not saving

Check storage permission (if applicable), ensure app isn't in restricted battery mode, and confirm you're on the latest version.
